Mum & Baby Postnatal Pilates classes at Body Logic helps your postnatal body gently recover from nine months of pregnancy and the subsequent birth.
Our lovely large and light studio is completely private and Body Logic Postnatal Pilates classes are for a maximum of 6 mothers and their babies. These small and intimate classes are held over a 5-8 week period (depending on term times) and exercises are tailored to suit your individual needs since all births and postnatal bodies are different.
Babies are ideally pre-crawling but we can accept crawlers if you think that you can manage them and still enjoy/benefit from the class. Babies can lie next to you or sit in their car seat/buggy, whichever suits you and your baby. If you need to feed your baby during the class, that's no problem.
Our Mum and Baby Postnatal Pilates is taught by experienced Pilates instructor, Sophy. As a guide, you will need to wait six weeks after a natural birth. Our Women's Health Physiotherapist can assess and advise you, and we recommend you check with your GP before booking. If you have had a caesarean section you will need to wait twelve weeks and be cleared by a check up with your GP before starting postnatal Pilates.
